What is X-Ray?

True North Imaging operates in a fully digital environment, allowing our referring physicians timely access to patient studies, through our web based portal and connection to the eHealth sponsored repository. Our medical and technical staff has all undergone a meticulous selection process to become members of the True North Imaging team, each with a strong commitment to ongoing professional education. Patients can expect rapid report turnaround times in a professional environment that respects their privacy.

An x-ray is a type of high-energy radiation. In low doses, x-rays are used to diagnose diseases by making pictures of the inside of the body.

TNI accepts referrals from family doctors, specialists, urgent care physicians, sports medical doctors and chiropractors (including consultation reports if required). We also provide x-ray services for immigration studies and other regulatory requirements.

How to Book

Appointment Details

Appointments are not required for X–Rays at most Clinics where patients are seen on a first-come first-served basis. Please check our Clinic Locator page to see which services are offered and if appointments are required.

Wait times and exam times will vary. Women who are or think they may be pregnant should not be x-rayed during the last two weeks of their menstrual cycle. If you think you may be pregnant, please inform the technologist before the examination. There are no instructions or preparations for x-rays.
